Complex analysis is a subject concerning the analysis on R^n.
For n=1, it is the traditional complex analysis of one variable.
It contains the famous Riemann mapping theorem and many other important and interesting results.
However, in 1906 and 1907, two fundamental results,
Hartogs’s extension theorem and Poincare’s inequivalence theorem,
were discovered.
It initiated the study of several complex variables.
Several complex variables is much deeper and difficult.
Many problems are still unknown and full of challenge.
