You would need to transfer to the general track of an Interdisciplinary Program that operates under the Dual-Specialty system.

In such system, the diploma indicates:

• the bachelor’s degree awarded, and
• the programs of the first specialty (第一專長) and second specialty (第二專長).

In general, an Interdisciplinary Program (under the Dual-Specialty system) defines:

• a set of recognized curricula for the First Specialty,
• a group of program-specific required courses, and
• elective regulations determined by the program.

For the Second Specialty, students are required to follow the standard curricula for Second Specialties [第二專長課程表], which are centrally reviewed by the university and apply across colleges.

• Students must select their First Specialty from a designated list of engineering-related specialties approved by the IPE, and follow the corresponding program-rocognized curriculum.
• The IPE also defines its own basic required courses and elective structure that all students in the program must complete.
