The Compulsory Courses include Unerversity-wise common courses and Program-wise common courses.

• When taking university compulsory courses, please pay special attention to the relevant regulation of Mandarin Course Requirements and General Education Courses.
• Program compulsory courses serve as the groundwork for subsequent dual-field learning.

Dual-field studying begins now. Given that each field requires specific foundational skills, focus on your studies and establish a solid foundation.

The Dual Fields system is designed to nurture interdisciplinary talent—the trend of the future. In contrast to minors or double majors, Dual Fields require fewer credits, offering students more flexibility in scheduling.

At this stage, you should possess the necessary skills to pursue advanced courses. Therefore, we provide you with the option of freely elective courses. Choose based on your research interests with the aim of professional integration and development.

On the other hand, we always encourage students to interdisciplinary study, so there is 15 credits quota for choosing any course which is provided by NTHU and you are interested in.
